In May 2005 Portia ‘the banker' had organized a Partner among 5 family members and three outsiders who contribute a regular sum of £20 weekly.
Every week one member of the partner receives the total amount contributed by the partner over that period.
With Portia's determination in helping people with low-level jobs, low income, lack of financial sophistication and to get people to save ‘A Partner System' was created and developed by herself which was called ‘Portia's Partnership Savings Club '.
The Club grew to the point where many different partners were running at the same time and over 500 members had join from good recommendation from others.
The huge success and referral from club members meant that they could now begin to offer much more services.
This is the story of how it all began for Portia Grant, an enterprising young woman from Jamaica.

About Portia's Partnership Savings Club Ltd
Portia's Partnership Savings Club was formed in May 2005. The company help people in the UK, such as people with limited access to credit, low income, people who want access to quick cash in emergency situation without the need of a credit history or for people who finds it difficult to save normally and wants to actively save in a ‘pardna group'.
Our mission is to help solve the fundamental problems that affecting middle income families from achieving financial independence by creating a system that encourage people to save more via a ‘pardna system'.
We offer the following services:
Saving Services (SS) focus on helping our members to consistently put a little away doing it the old fashion way through a non-financial system. (Throwing a pardna).
Loan Services (LS), helps our members to get a secured/unsecured loan from as little as £50 to £2000 on their savings without the need to produce a lot of paper work and a credit history.
Order Goods on Credit Services (GS), through which we provide our members to order Domestic Appliances and goods up to there pardna value, with no cost to them but to (pay the monthly bill).
Other types of benefits available are as follows:
• Discount Accommodation Worldwide: Provide each member a certificate upon request to visit Spain, Tenerife, Cornwall or Scotland to enjoy a 7 night's holiday luxury accommodation at a discount rate of £100. They also have the advantages of getting discount on accommodation through the club worldwide.
• Discount on All Electrical Installation and call outs: Provides house owners and business members discount on their electrics through our sister company System First Services.
• Discount on Package deals for DJs and Sound hire: All courtesy of System First Services.
Portia's Partnership Savings Club Ltd is a registered company in the UK that offers a non-financial form of savings via ‘Partner System'.
- We do Weekly, Monthly, investments.
- The shortest investment we do runs for 10 weeks, and the longest investment runs for 10 months.
